Fan-caught video of Metallica’s Monday show in Amsterdam demonstrates lead vocalist James Hetfield falling in the wake of venturing into a gap in front of an audience.
The Related Press noticed that the gap was made when a segment of ground surface from the band’s custom stage was purposefully brought down as a component of the show. The occurrence happened while the band was performing “Now That We’re Dead.”
Hetfield stayed down for a few seconds as stagehands hurried to enable him to up. Subsequent to recouping, the guitarist went ideal back to performing.
Luckily, the metal symbol seemed unharmed by the fall. Thereafter, Hetfield tended to the occurrence while addressing the group.
“Truly, I’m alright,” he stated, per the AP. “My personality? Not really.”
The band will keep visiting Europe, with their next set booked for Sept. 8 in Paris.
